The Vail Products® Drum Mulcher is engineered with the operator in mind.
Constructed to be the most robust and powerful Drum Mulcher on the market, our severe-duty design incorporates the highest-grade materials and components while maintaining a small working envelope. The Vail SuperDrive System with more torque than the industry standard, allows you to reduce stalling and automatically adjusts when needed to maximum torque and continue making chips through the cut. The center of gravity is also very close to the loader hitch for better maneuverability, mulching visibility, and performance.
To allow end users to replace only the necessary liners, the Vail Drum Mulcher is equipped with eight independent bolt-in wear plates made of abrasion-resistant steel. In addition, the quick-stop brake system is factory set to stop the drum in 10-15 seconds from the top end of 2700 rpm. Other key features include bolt-on replaceable skid shoes made with T1 steel, multiple Quadco teeth options, bite depth limiters, and our exclusive hose management system.
The Vail Drum Mulcher is fully equipped to mulch trees efficiently and keep your equipment running smoothly. Available models include 50″, 60″, and 72″ with 23-50+ GPM required.
