Water bucks (Kobus ellipsiprymnus) are one of the most sought-after species at  Ripping It. These exotic animals are native to Africa and are known for their impressive size and unique physical features. They spend a lot of their time in the wettest and lowest lands on our ranch, making for an exciting and challenging hunting experience.

Mature water buck males can weigh up to 350 pounds and have a coat of coarse, grayish-brown, longer hair. One of their most distinguishing features is a heart-shaped ring around their nose and mouth area. Male water bucks also carry dark and heavily ridged horns, making them a prized addition to any hunter's trophy room.

Water bucks are not only a beautiful animal but also make excellent table fare. Their meat is lean and flavorful, and they are often compared to beef or venison in taste. The best time to hunt water buck is early morning or late evening, using either "spot and stalk" or safari-style hunting methods.
